II.11 Sichuan casebook
This case is drawn from a collection of case files from the archives of the Sichuan Provincial Administration Commission. Most of the files can be dated to 1551. The files are in scattered order, bound together in fifteen juan in the Beijing library. The collection was reprinted in 北京图书馆古籍珍本丛刊. Thomas Nimick has through extraordinary effort recovered the order of the individual case files, of which there are 99 partial or complete items.
