This site is associated with the course website for Chinese History 270A/B, Introduction to Research in the History of Late Imperial China, taught at Harvard University. This version of the site contains the following materials:
- All documents from Parts One and Two of the original Fairbank-Kuhn Introduction to Ch'ing Documents syllabus, including digitized and manipulable images and downloadable .pdf files, plus additional documentary sources that continue to be added.
- Brief introductions to the documents and to the Qing communications system.
- Alphabetized glossary to documents in Parts One and Two of Introduction to Ch'ing Documents.
