Wreck of the Pace
Excerpt from the annual report of the Feodosiia city overseer
The Pace ("Peace"), a Sardinian ship carrying grain, was sailing near the village of Diurmen (east of Cape Tash Kachik) on its way from Taganrog to Constantinople. It was destroyed in a storm. The skipper and eleven sailors were saved by the villagers.
