Wreck of an oared vessel
Excerpt from the annual report of the Feodosiia city overseer
Off the southern coast of Crimea, near Aj Todor, a 12-oared barque traveling with a Turkish ship was lost. They had been bound for Evpatoriia. Aboard was one Turk (owner of the barque) and his sheep. He abided by the local quarantine terms under the surveillance of customs officers.
