Łowicz

A district town on the right bank of the Bzura River. There is an old abbey church here, as well as "an old château in a fine park."

Two miles southeast lies a place called Arcadia. Baedeker describes it as "a magnificent château belonging to Prince Radziwill, containing rich collections of art," situated in a large park.
