My Journey to the College X Change
Summer 2016: I become the Strategic Partnerships Manager for Harvard Student Agencies and work with several domestic and foreign partners, increasing my business acumen and discovering more of what it takes to start a business.
Spring 2017: The beginning stages of research for one of my first businesses DetailedBeauty starts and leads me to a summer dedicated to working on my own projects.
June 2017: The idea of an e-commerce platform comes to be, and the College X Change is born.
July 2017: I independently create my first website, http://www.Thecollegexchange.com, using a web-hosting platform called Bluehost and other website builders, and the College X Change goes public. I begin reaching out to friends from Harvard to raise awareness for the platform and start to build users.
November 2017: The College X Change forms a partnership with the Harvard Undergraduate Council. We form a board for the platform, gain College X Change ambassadors, and begin planning for the marketing of the service.
March 2018: Door drops for the platform are almost complete, and agreements become finalized to portray flyers for the platform in every dining hall on campus.
April 2018: The Harvard Library posts about the platform through their official Twitter account, and the Harvard UC sends a formal email to the student body further establishing the platform on campus. User-base grows to 200!
