Feedback for the College X Change
In this video, the student leaders give me feedback on the College X Change platform, and tell me ways that it can be improved. We discuss improvements such as speeding up the uploading process, making it more fluid to private message other students, and more. Here are some key takeaways from these discussions:
What aspects do you believe could be added to better the platform in its current state?
- "I'm thinking a price line instead of just having the whole description...it might be easier to separate the price and the description because then maybe you can sort by price or something" (Janae, President of the Association of Black Harvard Women).
- "I think searching by name could be cool, having certain standards for the name" (Max, Leader in the IOP).
- "I think it could be cool if you could click on the user from the item and message them automatically rather than going back to the tab and clicking message" (Meyling, Social Chair of the First Generation Students' Union).
- "One thing that I noticed is when I was putting in the information for the item I was doing here, one thing I would have appreciated is if College X Change had already given me the choices and I just had to choose them. So for like quality, there could be a drop-down list to choose from" (Awa, Vice President of the Harvard Black Men's Forum).
- "I think there should be a specific box for like how much are they worth, how much are you selling it for. It's just direct so all the necessary information to get the item sold won't be forgotten if they're just put in a large text box" (Myles, Social Chair of the Harvard Black Men's Forum).
