Adding authors to Scalar sites

How it works by default

Scalar users have to be added to sites manually by the site creator, one by one. For someone to be added to a scalar site, they must have already created an account on the platform.

How it works at Harvard

If you have a list of students that you need to add to a Scalar site, email atg@fas.harvard.edu. We can add students or collaborators to Scalar sites from a spreadsheet containing the HUIDs of students in the course. People added as site authors don't need to have existing Scalar accounts, the process of adding them will create accounts for them.
