And for the hunters among you: Shoot an auroch or bison, an elk-cow, hind, or doe, and you will find yourself staring down the barrel of a 500-ruble penalty.(Though I do think it might have been hard to shoot an auroch. So far as I can tell, they were extinct by 1627, despite the heroic efforts of Polish kings.)
