Final Project (50% of Overall Grade)

Each student will also complete a Final Project in the form of a Scalar-based multimedia project that, when combined with the Projects completed by their peers, will grow and expand this Scalar Book into a massive, content-rich collaboration ready for consumption by all of us, as well as our interlocutors, communities and the broader public at large.

Each project will constitute something like a "Chapter" in the Book, involving the creation of several pages of text mixed with images, videos, sound clips, etc., conceptually linked via a Path structure. Projects will focus on the various findings and sources gathered on a particular social activist and the cause(s) that they defend. The process of creation will be taking place in separate and progressive steps throughout the semester leading towards the final presentation of a finished project.
