In the film, one couple observes another through their glass window and envies how nice the other couple's life appears to be. The main couple in the film has lost love and passion for each other due to the demands of the mundane activities of life. They long for the life that the other couple leads. It is only at the end of the film that we learn that the ‘envied’ couple had their own large challenge in life which ultimately led to the death of one of the partners. However, during the time that they were both alive, the ‘envied’ couple chose to make the best out of their circumstances. Overall, the film is a reminder to stay grateful and to try find the light even in hard times.
