Her work was dedicated to exploring "more than human histories," particularly the interplay between histories of people, ideas, and their specific places. Her thesis examines the modern enclosure of the Kazakh steppe, interrogating forms of Indigenous resistance and movement in contexts of structural violence or impossibility.
