Resources for Loss

Good Grief: Grief Support Center for Children & Families, contributed by Peyton Wright (2025)

I chose to include the website Good Grief, which has been an incredibly helpful resource for me in my own grieving journey, even before this class.

https://good-grief.org/

Their website features a resource section covering a wide range of topics for both the bereaved and their support systems. Some examples include:

[Navigating] Mother's & Father's Day

[How to] Create A Safe Space For Someone Who Is Grieving

Talking To Kids About Suicide and Homicide

I really appreciate how the site addresses aspects of grief that are often not widely discussed, allowing me to learn and process my own experiences in new ways. They also have support groups available for those in New Jersey, which I found meaningful as someone who has participated in similar groups after a loss. I thought this geographically specific resource could also be valuable for students in that area.
