Resources for Loss

"Crying in H Mart" by Michelle Zauner, contributed by Jeanna Qiu (2019)

I found this article in the New Yorker that I would like to share. The author is half-Korean and I thought it was interesting to see how the loss of her mother and aunt was also somewhat a loss of identity/culture for her and made her want to cling to her Korean identity even more. In this case, her mother was her last direct tie to her Korean culture and this ties well with our discussion of reasons that might compound the loss of a family member.
