Luis Esteva Sueiro - Story of Self

Hi everyone! I’m Luis, a sophomore from California in Dunster House studying a Special Concentration in Group Dynamics, which aims to explore how and why humans organize themselves into collectives, how those collectives operate, and the effect of individuals on affecting group-level decisionmaking and behavior. I am honored to be serving as Director of Special Projects at the IOP this year, focusing on expanding international programming through the newly created Coalition for Global Affairs (CGA). Outside of the IOP, I am involved as the advocacy chair for Concilio Latino and Harvard-Radcliffe Raza, am a cadet in Army ROTC, a Harvard-MIT Humanist Chaplaincy Fellow, and am on the boxing and jiu jitsu club teams. I am also the director of Youth for Beto, the student led branch of Beto O’Rourke’s campaign for Texas Governor focused on driving youth outreach and support. When I find free time I like to play guitar, cook, and sing Mexican music very poorly while I clean.
