Do Other Cultural Affinity Groups Have the Same Struggles?
Silvana Gomez, a first-year student from New Jersey, is a leader in both Fuerza Latina and Latinas Unidas. She discusses not only the current class divides between the two clubs, but also identifies what steps need to be taken to close that gap. I decided that I would interview other cultural affinity groups within Harvard's community to compare their structures to BSA's and how they have either helped or hindered the "inclusivity" of their organizations.
