The best trees are in coastal gardens between Balaklava and Yalta; they also grown near Alushta, Uskyut, Sudak, and in wild groves in the mountains near Inkerman and near Sevastopol harbor. The trees do not reach great heights, but the fruit has good flavor. (see page 76)
